Steinway & Sons D-274,
Year of manufacture 2019 (“612”) – equipped with two keyboards
This grand piano is a true jewel in our concert grand piano hire collection and is regularly used for high-quality recording productions in the famous Teldex studio in Berlin, among others. Its basic characteristics offer a huge range of sound colours and dynamic possibilities.
The size of the sound projection is unrivalled.
The second mechanism, which can be replaced within 2-3 minutes, gives the player a further cosmos of possibilities. It is lyrical in terms of regulation and
intonation, but also develops power and clarity in forte and fortissimo.
The sound can be controlled extremely well down to the lowest pianissimo and magical and dark sounds can be created with an extremely long sound duration and transparency.

A universal instrument for large halls, piano concerts, chamber music and recitals.

This grand piano has a pervasive clarity
without sacrificing the beauty and evenness of the tones in the various
registers, especially the „Una Corda“.
Its great tonal projection makes it an ideal instrument for medium-sized and large concert halls for recitals and piano concerts.

Yamaha rental instrument:
Yamaha C3 XA,
Year of manufacture 2012, length: 186cm
This XA instrument incorporates findings from the development of the CFX concert grand piano.
The soundboard, the ribs and the braces have been improved. These parts are decisive for the sound development. A new type of string supports the new design and enables the wonderful, bright and brilliant sound of the XA model.
The stronger and redesigned ribs are glued to the soundboard using a special method, and the construction ends in a perfectly moulded crown that guarantees maximum stability.
The braces of the XA series have been completely redesigned, resulting in a powerful, brilliant and consistent sound.
